TeleVue Plossls have concave eye and field lenses which provide a very well-corrected outer field. The field is flat and sharp to the edge in my f/5 Dobs. Adjusted for inflation, that is about $115 in today's dollars. I also have a Fujiyama Ortho but only because Tele Vue doesn't have a Plössl below 8mm. Clear skies! Rick Sure they do: it's called the Nagler 3-6 zoom. Plössl fov with better eye relief, around 10 mm. I feel that I could see just a bit more detail in the Televues. I have recently upgraded to Pans and Naglers, but plan to keep the Televue Plossls.
