WebApr 21, 2015 · The choices are timothy-alfalfa cubes or beet pulp. They do have their own lines of complete feeds, but as I already explained, I'd rather avoid those. Everyone I know in the horse world feeds a complete pellet here, except a few people who are really interested in a more bare-bones approach to nutrition.

My horses have never looked or felt better than they have on Hay-Rite. Tried liquid feed and the prairie hay last winter and cows got real poor so we switched back to the 20's and they fattened right up, yet a neighbor used the same strategy with liquid and his cattle did great on it. Same pasture conditions too.
